Point on Cout is based on form this season who does he replace? Great that we aren't relying on him, he is outstanding once every 4 games, this may force him to be more consistent because so far his competition is firm and mane and not replacing either of them on current form.
Firmino has definitely settled in this season (from early showing), last year he was as inconsistent as Coutinho (maybe even more so) but is looking the part right now. I have heard from Saints fans that Mane can go missing for a few games at a time but have never noticed that myself, but I have watched him less than Saints fans.
Our attack was epic. Lots of pace, movement, flexibility and intelligence. Tells you all you need to know that people are questioning how Coutinho comes back into the side. Mane was a constant threat. Studge was very intelligent with his movement and awareness. Firmino was boss, he is the lynchpin to it all imo. Behind them Ninja had his best game for us yet, with a few chances he should have perhaps had a goal. Lallana was excellent but slightly in the shadows because of how others performed, superb finish for the third. Both making excellent late runs into the box.
Manager expects team to play at their best and win games, shock and horror runs through Premier League
I bet you would. I'm not wumming here but I really believe you are strong candidates for relegation. As you are in the champions league, your league form will suffer. You've got a decent group and I think ranieri will (rightly ) play strong teams in the cl. You will find it difficult after every CL match as your squad is fairly limited. I think you will be like in2014/15, fighting to stay in the premiership.
jeez is that the best you can do i know your board is deserted so if you want to pop over for a chat you are welcome but if you want to wum please give it at least a modicum of thought or it will be like having that Viva Giggsy tosser visiting us . PS out of interest what did Maureen say after your lunchtime horror show
Wasn't happy, he said we were outplayed for the first half and blamed himself for poor team selection. Quite right in my opinion too, Lingard hasn't played a game yet this season and Miki has shown very clearly in his cameo appearances that he is not up to PL speed yet.
Chelsea went from first to tenth with better players and experience without losing a star player I think Leicester will be mid table; somewhere between 8th & 10th
He did point out that the ref missed a leg breaker by their keeper and said we should have had a handball. The handball would have been harsh in my opinion and I wouldn't like to see it given against us.
