    ok, we are not in it anymore, but I see that the premiership clubs are now taking part - Swindon are taking on Chelsea reserves.

    I never thought that would ever happen.

    I'm personally gutted and frustrated - the lower league sides have now had their day in the sun at Wembley put at serious risk by the premiership fat cats - the disgust goes on and on.

    Supposed to be a one year trial, record low attendances hopefully will make sure that this concept isn't repeated next year

    agree. maybe involve non league but not clubs from above

    Maybe the role of the football league clubs could be examined. Have football league clubs encouraged these changes by their past?

    Previous decisions by football league clubs i.e. EPPP, extending parachute payments act as antecedents to the Premiership.
