For this to take off you only need a couple of hundred we have seen this first hand when palace came to the kc and looking at the stanly ultras video. Good luck lads and if it happens near e7 you can count me in and the 6/7 that stand near me trying to get some sort of atmo going because its getting worse. It would be good if everyone could meet up then walk down together just like an away game show of support.
Didn't see that but the noise is tremendous. I hope this works at the KC as the atmosphers is definately flat at times.
I'd bet that, even if a megaphone could be smuggled into the KC, whoever produced it and used it would get ejected or even arrested.
Has no-one thought of doing a stoke trick and playing chanting fans through the speaker system? Near me in the south stand, people tend to join in singing, but never start a chant. If it was coming through the speakers, we could all just join in.
could mike up the 'singing part of the stadium' and have it through speakers at the other side? nah thats daft, but your idea isn't bad.
Anything! Just get the whole stadium absolutely rocking for 90 minutes! That would just be immense, so if speakers playing singing is needed may it be! Come on you hull!
I can honestly say I've never made the error, very common amongst Hullensians for some reason, of writing of instead of have. Neither do I not know when to use your or you're no matter how much of a rush I am in.
And we wonder why Greece has a better atmosphere than we do at matches, don't you mean? Do the nasty flares frighten you?
I'm sure Huddersfield tried that trick and all. We've already got the fat twat with the microphone at the beginning. So i hope it never happens.
A good idea But the name could cause problems away from home. The name Ultra is synonymous with the violent Italian supporters.
If they don't get involved in thuggery then I'm all for it. Here in Lyon the supporters groups are called associations and the main 2 are "Bad Gones" and "Lugdonum", they're not hooligans but because of their size they have relations with the club and can get good prices for members, cheap travel etc. .. So if the City Ulltras are serious and well organised they could start something useful..
Great idea to get some atmosphere into the KC. Unfortunately I live too far away to visit the KC (except for the odd occasion each year when I visit) as a Tigers supporter, but Tigers supporter I am. I have one or two suggestions though. First get organized as an unorganized unofficial effort will peter out. Get a real banner this one is too small. Get a distinctive T shirt for members so you stand out. Involve the Tigers Management. You may be surprised. They could be very helpful. For example they could reserve sections for your group and aso give prior authorization for banners etc. to be brought into the ground. They could also put popular chants/songs on the TV screen and get the whole crowd singing. This is modeled on the team I have a season ticket for, Philadelphia Union. Now don't scoff, they get capacity crowds for each home game of over 18,500. They have a supportr's end and call themselves The Sons of Ben (for Ben Franklin). They have light blue T shirts to distinguish themselves from other supporters who have the dark blue/gold team colors. There are about 2,000 of them and you have to be a member to get a seat in the River End, their area.
An idea might be to do what FC scumchester did and get some gimp video-taping your new chants and then get them put on YouTube and circulated on Facebook, Twitter, the forums etc. Best way of getting a new song going and far less cringeworthy than hymn sheets etc.
I think's it's a good idea as long as it doesn't become all cheesy and we start copying songs such as "we love you" "Dale Cavese" and the bloody 'Poznan'. Some originality wouldn't go a miss... That "Hull to eternity" flag is good what someone posted, we need more flags in City colours opposed to the standard tacky St george flags. Oh and apparently you CAN get orange flares, from Kildale marine as well!
Good idea except for the moronic "City 'ull" chant. This may or may not have been discussed, but if I'm honest I only read the first post.
