Much as I detest Merson; I understand his sentiment regarding our goal scoring prowess... I am praying Jay continues with some momentum from the Sunderland game...

Just seen stats on Sky that we've only scored one goal in the league at the emirates, we all know what game that was
Though saying that the scoreline has improved year on year: 6-1 2-0 1-0 0-0 0-1? Yes I am clutching at straws!
I can say, in all honesty, that I have no recollection whatsoever of the 6-1. Genuinely. Even the following year when someone mentioned it, I had to look it up to check they were telling the truth. Strange. Vin
Hoping for a result or a thrashing; no "well, there were some positives to take away" 2-0 losses, please.
If my memory serves me right, the 6-1 was just one of those days, when we lost a CB early/mid first half and had to throw on the untried, recently signed, unmatch fit and sadly maligned (from that day until now) Maya Yoshida. I have many concerns about tomorrow's game, not least how badly we played after every international break last season. I really hope that trend has been reversed, and that every single player turns up for this very big match.
Yep, some have never forgiven Yoshi for that game. Strange when you consider the bloke he replaced had already scored an own goal!
Well, I've just watched the lowlights ( if you must). I must have erased it completely from my memory, as I only recognised Fox's goal. Must say just from those highlights that Clyney looked to be at least as much to blame for goals as Maya. Beautiful finish from Nathan for his own goal as well. Vin
