I think Rizal Park in the last race at Uttoxeter may have some scope for improvement now handicapping. I missed the 20s but I'll take 16s ew. I also like Kim Bailey's two at the same track so a little multiple with RP. Good luck anyone having a go tomorrow.

    2 for me tomorrow :-

    15.00 DONCASTER- PEARL SECRET- 11/2

A group 2 winner last year and has been running in some hot races this year. Dropping back in to listed company for more than 2yrs and showed signs the last couple of runs that he still has it in him and with the trip and ground to suit he has a big run in him and is the horse to beat imo

    16.10 DONCASTER- WAR GLORY- 15/8

Has had 4 runs 2 wins on the AW and showed a lot promise on his turf debut and is still unexposed

Hello, everyone. Hope we all well. Good, good.

Question of the day. Has the words ‘legends’ ever been used as loosely as it is today at Doncaster. Answers on a postcard, please to the usual address...

I'll leave Doncaster to the tipping comp, no money for me there today.
Hoping for success on a nice little win treble at Carlisle with the following:
    3.25 Cuttin' Edge
    4.35 Dasheen
    5.05 Wor Lass

Also like the look of Hepijeu in the opener at Uttoxeter.

    Good Luck to all.

No monicker short of legend is suitable to describe Gay Kelleway old boy <ok>

But surely "Reserve 2" and "Reserve 3" are the real legends?

Surely it's time they introduced some kind of parameters for the Leger Legends Race. Joseph winning aged 23 just makes it all look a bit daft! Maybe they should stipulate that the riders have to have handed their licenses in at least 3 years ago or something?

    Oh,come on you old curmudgeons!

This is about raising cash and generating some levity and positive PR for racing surely.

All participants interviewed had a ball and the crowd seemed to buy into the race as well.

If we start imposing entrant criterion, such as a three year post competitive riding hiatus,it wouldn't be good.

Last years winner AP,who created massive headlines, would have been ineligible,as would Richard Hughes today and he was very much a headline act.

We need personalities from today as well as yesterday to encourage everyone to open their wallets!

Actually just read that JO'B got fined £500 for excessive use of the whip in the Legends race.

Dear oh dear...surely a caution to a retired rider helping to raise a projected £100,000 for a racing charity would have been enough.

Who is served by this fine?..perhaps the deterrent will ensure JO'B doesn't do it on his next ride,in the next world.

So many entities in racing just aren't on the same page never mind the same book not to mention the same ****ing library.
