Doubt that the allocation is only 800 ;)

Just hope we take it all.

    Yep...I'll be there.

Your right it will be an adventure.....reckon we'll have about 400 fans tops.
Think everyone's more interested in going to Milan, understandably, never envisaged we would be playing a competitive game at the San Siro!!

There's probably not going to be 5000 season ticket holders who meet the early priority criteria... I guess it just depends on how Saints intend to sell the remaining tickets.

On a side note, Tadic's celebration after his penalty was in response to the birth of his daughter 2 days ago. Congratulations. :)

Totally just realised the priority criteria is only 4 then 3 away games, have no idea why but i thought it was 10+. Much more depressed now.

I think they expect it to be taken up by the end of the windows they have announced.

I'll probably get very little sympathy, but am massively disappointed that we've only been given 5k tickets to this when they have an 86k stadium that will only be half full.

Seems like it's not worth the risk to buy a ticket for the home end. My Italian is ropey at best and they'll be checking passports on entry.

I dont manage to get to many away games because a lot of my weekends and weekday evenings are already spent commuting from London to St Marys for season ticket games. Unfortunately I don't qualify for the minimum away games. What do we think are the chances of the 5k tickets making it past the 15th September or as a worst case plan b, does anyone know of a fanzone?

    Childish whinging over.

Just copied this from elsewhere, may be of use to some on here who are traveling to our away games in Europe ....

Those going to inter Milan. If your saints accounts name is ie a shorter version of your name you need to update it to match passport so eg if saints have "Dave" but you are really a "David" this needs to be changed as does surnames for ladies ie passport still in maiden name but account in married - if not done it won't process the tickets! Spoken to club today who confirm this (I needed to do ours!!)

Well the capacity is 80 thousand, and the minimum is 5%. So they only have to give us 4 thousand really. I was expecting more but oh well. I'd expect Inter to sell approx. 30/35 thousand. I expect us to sell all our allocation.

obviously the club will issue this warning, but if you've gone ahead and booked flights already then don't be too concerned by this warning.
The practicality of them checking everyone's passport/ID in the home sections is unlikely.

If you arrive to the ground close to kick off and even wear an Inter shirt or scarf then you're unlikely to get checked.

Plenty of Spurs and Celtic fans who have visited recently said they had no issues getting in.

You may well be right on both counts, and I hope you are. What I do know is that they have someone prior to the turnstiles checking passports/ID.

At least it's not like British people look REALLY BRITISH when they're abroad...

They've changed the criteria. It was definitely 10+ originally (something like 14+, then 13+, then 12+).

Spot the Brit abroad is a good game...we look crumpled and wear a lot of polyester. Germans dress weirdly, but combine it with looking ironed.

How recently have you been? I know they check IDs for domestic games as well. To see which region you're from, but was not sure if that is only policed in the hardcore home end and not the whole ground.

Best practice American accents just encase
