It's going to be a very difficult group. Sounds silly but the way the fixtures are set out the first 2 games are vital. Need at least one win out of that for me
I agree - I would play a full strength team, not a weakened "Europa" team in the first 2 matches - and then for Inter play a much stronger team than the full strength team!

We should play our strongest team in every EL game. No ifs, no buts.

Think Hapoel away will be very tough and will be suprised if any team picks up all 3 there in thr group.

Sparta at home is massive. They're a good side too. Got to QFs last year and went out to Villareal I think.

On another note I'm glad that Hapoel is away first so that if there people who decide to bring palestine flags to the home game then they're not making the return more dangerous.

Jeez I hope there aren't any. Just because a bunch of terrorist sympathisers like the green brigade have done it doesn't mean we have to follow them.

There was at least one on here who said it and plenty on othwr forums.

They may have been joking of course but never underestimate the idiocy of a section of our fanbase.

Btw with regards to 'terroist sympathisers' who are you referring to?

Celtic's "green brigade" regularly sing pro IRA songs.

I'm pretty sure the person on here who mentioned bringing a Palestine flag was joking.

Yeah I think they were but like I say there's plenty of others n I wouldn't be suprised at all, sadly.

Anyone here planning on going to Israel? Shame it's such short notice as reckon that will stop a lot of people. Proper adventure that one.

Nor is Ward Prowse (b late 1994) despite being same academy group as Reed. Jack Stephens played with those lads too though is the year above (b Jan 1994). Suspect McQueen (b 1995) is going to feature too. Do they publish B lists?

I for one hope they give these youngsters 1st team appearances if only to rest the regulars for the last 20 mins when winning 3-0 v Inter etc.
