Best opening 45 minutes I've witnessed for a long time. We went for it from the first whistle. Three well taken goals, and we fought for every ball, and won most of them. Very impressed with Gareth Evans at right back, with some excellent tackling and defending. Tom Davies was very cool and calm alongside Christian Burgess at centre back. Curtis Main scored twice and will gain confidence from his performance. Milan Lalkovic had a very impressive game (an improvement on Kyle Bennett to my mind). Michael Smith missed a one-on-one sitter late in the game, but lets not dwell on that. Three more points, three league wins on the trot, and up to 4th. in the table, just two points behind the leaders Luton. Not a bad day all round
From the report it appears Main's fist goal came from being on the end of a cross a couple of yards out., and the second from picking up a ball not held by the keeper. Two goals that sound like a 'right time - right place' striker's. Promising.
Don't know if this can be viewed overseas but the goals are here: http://www.skysports.com/football/portsmth-vs-crawley/359283
Noli Cedere, emblazoned on Crawley FC's crest, never give up. I think by Dimidium temporis, they already had.
