Big Sam's first game in charge and I've just realised its tomorrow. WTF Sunday at 5pm. What's going on?? And we're only playing one game, thought it was usually two games?
That second half against Iceland. The worst, most inept performance by an Engerlund side ever? **** knows were we go from there naming essentially the same squad.
Maybe he can get something out of this shower of ****e! Let's not go OTT about him until it appears it's all the same & nothing has changed! Personally I'm happy with Sam, I'd rather have an English manager!
Having just seen the team he has announced it hardly fills me with optimism, .Henderson ffs, the guy shouldn`t be allowed to clean the boots let alone pull on the shirt. No Deli Ali, No Drinkwater, one striker up top, so much for the new era.
I personally don't get the 'let's have an English manager' for the job.In almost every other sport we have managers and coaches from other countries. If it's acceptable in other sports then just get on board with the best person for the job idea.
never seen an England team fall 2 bits in a match like the Iceland game and I've seen. Some bad days at my age. Totally lost it mentaly and allardyce said its all on the mind' . Has picked samish side so lets see. Ps Rooney should be stood down.
This. Unless something goes horribly wrong in the qualifiers, we won't know whether he's done a good job until June/July 2018.
Was just going to say exactly the same. This is the guy that brought JJ Okocha to England and fitted a team around him. Henderson over Deli Alli. JHFC.
Is Kuciak in the Slovakia squad? His participation might make the match more interesting for City fans.
They are trying to change things within the FA and with grass roots coaching. They are however only about a 3rd of the way into a 10 year plan. The frustration is they make all the changes for coaching methods and then just employ another anti football manager who seems devoid of his own ideas and picks exactly the same bunch of over rated players that have a track record of failure (except for Antonio). Whether that is instructed or not it needed someone to be bold and drop the failures.
It's almost as if the FA are more than happy to carry on being mediocre for the forseable future. Their motto should be 'We're a bit **** but we're happy with it. Ps dont forget we've got an English manager'. They appear to have no inclination to move forward, seem happy to be crab like.
The qualification is never normally a problem. We just fall to pieces once tournament football starts.
