Could be blown out the water here but 7 out of 10 for me. Midfield, wingers and fullbacks are much stronger. Disappointed about strikers and goalkeeper but at least it means some young lads having a shot. Rather grow our own 10 million plus players then constantly buy them.

Significantly weaker than the squad that ended last year I went for 1 because 0 wasn't an option

I've gone for a 3. I think on the whole it's been a below average/poor window, in all honesty.

We've signed a few good players (Manq, N'Dong, Januzaj), we've also let go some good players (M'Vila, Kaboul, Lens).

We spoke to a lot of genuinely good players who would have improved our side considerably and failed to make them want to come. The likes of Iborra, Mason, Naismith, etc. We had bids accepted and they didn't want to come. Why is that? What is the common denominator here? Seemed that 'personal terms' continues to crop up.

I feel as if while we've signed good players (as above) but teams that are our rivals have signed better. They've moved forward while we've stood still and I say stood still at best. West Brom signed Chadli, Bournemouth signed Wilshere, Palace signed Benteke (and others), Stoke have signed Bony, Watford have signed Pereya.

We had such a good chance to push on this season and I feel as if we haven't based on this window alone.

I'm happy with the defense and midfield, we've done OK there, M'Vila would have been a great addition though and fingers crossed for January.

For the life of me i just can't understand why we left it till the last day to attempt to ring in a Keeper, FFS where is the logic in that? once Manonne got crocked we should have been on the hunt immediately, instead we leave it till too late and got bitten.

Same for the striker. Stevie Wonder can see that Defoe is desperate for help up front, even before Borini got injured we were light up front, now we're ****ing desperate for Defoe to remain fit and produce the goods for the next 4 months.

Despite the fact we did OK with the defense and midfield, the lack of back up in goal and in front of goal could severely bite us on the arse big time.

    I've gone with a six.

There is a sprinkle of quality with some of the signings and a couple of work in progress players that DM and the coaching staff can work their magic on.

Like the rest of you, I have my concerns about the lack of depth in the goalkeeping and striker positions, but I have a feeling that these will both be addressed in the coming days via the free transfer market.

I'd give us a generous 4, absolutely unforgivable to leave us with just Defoe up front (I just hope we're going to have a free agent lined up for cover), defence we look fairly good though it was a shame to see Kaboul go. Midfield, I think most are pretty gutted we haven't got M'Villa in, but hopefully N'Dong will do the business as we've spent a lot on him, I just hope not spending a few quid on M'Villa isn't going to come back to haunt us, we've missed his quality this year already. Out wide I think we're fine though I didn't see the logic in loaning Lens out after Borini got injured. Up front we have no alternative to Defoe other than a 17 year old, Moyes better have something up his sleeve because this is a disaster waiting to happen.
On the plus side we have done well to get rid of a lot of the ****e that's been weighing us down, young players are being given a chance and we've kept hold of Kone for now. But our signings haven't got me very excited mainly because I haven't seen a lot of them before so I've got my fingers crossed that we've unearthed some decent players.

I'm trying my best to be a bit positive and give the players we've just signed a chance bit of luck they'll surprise us and everybody else.

Go along with this with a 7 as I feel we have strengthened in the right places and our threat on goal is not all channelled through JD. Fighting off Everton for Kone and tying up M.Villa for January shows the club's longer term intent. Signing a couple of internationals, reshaping the team and not going daft over fees sets us up for January and beyond.

If we've lost Yann I will not be forgiving any of the Toby's in charge at the club.

We failed at the 2 desperate positions and possibly overdid the defence, which I will see looks superbly set.

The 3 is due to the decent looking Djib and the excellent looking Manquillo.

If Defoe gets injured then somebody's head needs to roll.

I've gone for middle of the road. 5/10. neither impressed or unimpressed.

I'm hoping Jordan takes his chance and makes a claim for the No 1 Jersey.
Defence seems to be stronger but we will have to see.Djilobodji, Manquillo, Kone and Van Aaanholt could tuen out to be a strong unit.

Midfield I'm not sure about, No M'vila, Khazri not really involved; however new boy N'dong could be the real deal, and the young lad Gooch could turn out to be a solid player,

Midfield / Forward - Januzai - Need him to find his form when he came on the scene

Forwards - We fall short here, Hoping Defoe stays injury free, then we need to see if Watmore can build on his potential. Asoro a bit young but rated very highly, if your good enough your young (old) enough..

Had we got a proven striker and M'vila back i would have gone for high 6 / low 7.

I think we have done pretty good in the window considering Moyes didn't come to the table till late in the window. Let's give the lad a chance. For years I have been shouting about giving the kids a chance. Well we have a manager who is going to do that and I think it's brilliant. We need to move on from the continual fire fighting. It may get worse before it gets better but we have a manager now on a four year contract...let's back him all the way. To the kids I would say...here's your big chance...put your big boy pants on and make it happen. A couple of years ago we had four strikers...Fletcher, Graham, Altidore and Wickham.....now we have Defoe, Borini, Asoro and probably Maja will come into the picture....for ****s sake give me the current four. Yes, today's game you can bring in Khazri etc for support...I really like this and I think we can grow form here. Remember the saying..."You can never win with kids" by a certain Alan Hansen? If your good enough...your old enough. I think some of these kids have great futures. I like what Moyes is doing...I'm on board!!!
