Hi Chaps, New Bellamy article to get our Juices going again . Will he be here for the Bristol game? I can dream i suppose. It may be recycled but cant see him sitting on a decision himself for 2 long regarding his wage and how to manage it. http://www.click-manchester.com/spo...-to-land-manchester-city-striker-bellamy.html
Starting to feel like this should happen at last... let him leave... he wants us, we want him... done deal
Funny that this should rear it's head again, I was going to post a thread on this but as this is up and running I'll put it on here I went for a pint and a meal straight from work yesterday with some friends, so didn't see this until this morning, I was in the pub with some City supporting mates, all dead keen season ticket holders, when my phone went, another Bluebird mate, he'd heard from a normally reliable source that there was ameeting at the club yesterday afternoon with Bellers representatives, and wondered if I'd heard anything. Another of the lads came in a bit later on and mentioned that he heard the same thing from a totally independent normally trustworthy source.........now this might just be Chinese Whispers and I have no definite details, but funny how it's reared it's head now, and is coming from several directions
I was told last week that we had raised last season's £25k per week to £35k per week. If Bellers will come to us only surely (I'm not talking to you Sparks) it is better for Moneybags City to get £1.5m off their wage bill rather than have him doing nothing? All depends how strong Bellers' resolve is to play for us only and whether somewhere closer than Celtic or Sunderland comes in with something attractive to the Mancs which could tempt Bellers. I think this will roll on to the end of August and can't see him being with us for the Wurzels.
I have no doubt Bellamy will be back with us this season and have felt that way all summer, no idea if he will come on loan or permanent but I have a feeling that if nothing is sorted by late August Man City might decide to cut their losses and accept a bid of a few £M for him just to get him off the wage bill. True club legend !!
Was he even that good for you last season? Maybe I was a bit naive in thinking he would demolish the Championship but he didn't look stand out in the few games I saw him play, and it was literally a few
Nearly every game he played in it was apparant that he was the class act on the field, what you have to look at is what he does with the ball and what he does without the ball and then my friend you will see the full picture. Pure class is our Craig. He will return i have said it all along, just a little patience needed. Roll on sunday and lets hope we can roll the Ammmmerrs over
You can't see the running and space players create on tv right enough I like him, he has bad press because he told everyone the manager lied about him refusing to play at Newcastle and Shearer stuck his awe in so he text Shearer calling him a **** = legend
Natch Every time we look across the Severn Bridge we see a whole ground of has beens at Ashtip Grate - players and fans!!!!!!
