They might be furious right now, but if Spurs have bought the version of Sissoko that we've been carrying around, rather than the shop window version that appeared at the Euros, then come December they will be celebrating their lucky escape.
For me it just reinforces my opinion of him. The classic modern mercenary footballer. Very little talent, very little heart, very little application and far too much money and far too much ego. Should add, if true, he isn't even man enough to tell Everton he preferred to sign for Spuds.
And that is why none of us will mourn his loss but instead party on into the early hours, even though it is a school night.
