    He's been very verbal about wanting out of Newcastle for a while. Toon fans seem glad he's gone 'as he only turns up for 3 games a season' - I don't know, seems over-priced to me but that's been the story of this window. No marquee signing for us or Everton then but think they were expecting one more than we were.

    i still fail to see why no LB has been signed
    with the Sakho problem we look so light defensively ,and it's hardly a position of strength for us ,that we seem to be hoping for the best

    I don't like transfer day deals, but I would have made an exception for a leftback. Needless to say my expectations for the season are now very low.

    I wonder if it is down to the Chinese deal, so the yanks don't want to put any more money into the club...

    No LB, no CM. The two areas just about everyone thinks that we needed half way through last season.

    Mane aside, a disappointing window. I feel a bit like a gooner <laugh>

    Just get behind the team now and hope the absence of these signings doesn't inhibit the team too much.
