I have no problem with Naismith moving on, but I want the money re-invested into a proper, proven striker at this level.

I couldn't agree with this more, such a bad transfer window for us if it ends as it is or with just another youth player loaned in as a striker!

    SINCLAIR LOAN DEAL

Jerome Sinclair is likely to join Norwich City on a six-month loan deal from Watford, according to Sky sources.

    Ipswich about to announce someone.

    It better not be Rhodes.

What as well as Rhodes on loan?
From striker famine to feast in the space of 72 hours! <yikes>

Just appeared on the Sky news live feed.

Would rather have Rhodes to be honest.

Britt isn't happening, Wells now very highly unlikely, Valencia was always mad to me but now looks like Swansea could get him.

Jerome I think would be fantastic if it was a Perm deal, but I'm not sure how ready he is for the Championship. I think it would be an interesting and possibly exciting option, but if he was the only striker in today, I'd still be very worried.

Rhodes at the moment is the one that excites me, I think he's as close as you can get to buying Championship goals.

Another name mentioned a lot, with the club making a lot of signings this window, is Ulloa. If there was any chance of him, I think he would fit us perfectly.

Just imagine if the board stunned us all with a Perm for Rhodes and maybe Ulloa on a loan deal?

I think Ulloa is very unlikely, I know Swansea were very interested, but if they get Valencia....Maybe that deal will keep them busy today....

I doubt we will get either but I agree with the above and think Ulloa would be a great piece of business. I cant see it happening but I hope I am wrong. If its just Sinclair then recruitment has failed massively.

I get the sense that Ulloa wouldn't cost that much in comparison to some of the fees being paid by the championship clubs but would probably leave most fans feeling satisfied....... fingers crossed.

I'd love Ulloa, but like the Valencia link, he's just too good a player for lower Premiership clubs not to get involved.
