Not long landed if he was on that connection. Would be a few hours yet I would have thought. Still need to agree a price. Late announcement if it's happening I reckon.
If he's signed a pre-contract then he wouldn't need to do a deal would he? We'd only need to have agreed with Kazan.
13:18 Sky confirming news be brought to you several weeks ago. Yann M’Vila has indeed signed an agreement with Sunderland to sign on a free transfer in January, however, David Moyes is keen to sign the Frenchman today and is working towards agreeing a fee with Rubin Kazan.
wouldn't ellis just fly him up on his jet? Maybe not, the tight twat would stick him on Geordie Ripper for 10 quid one-way.
Not sure how it works mate. Tell you what though fella. An extra 2m promised on Yanns signing on fee in his pre agreement and he could buy his own contract out at Kazen and sign for us now for free(2m really). Wonder if that's what we're up too? Lets face it, Kazan want way more than his contract is actually worth. Is it legal to do this?
Possibly, possibly private charter too. depends if we want it secret. If not that connection would be the quickest way here
I see no reason why not. Kazan are the fools, if he doesn't leave today they lose any fee plus monster wages, it's stupidity.
So he's got a contract signed and sealed for January, so you can't sign him 'permanently' today. You're now trying to iron out a four month loan deal. That seems to be the top and bottom of it.
Makes for a refreshing change that a proper quality player actually wants to sign for us this window.
Aye I dealt with Russians in Spain and I found talking to them like they were beneath you tended to earn their respect. Odd race.
Sunderland after Leonardo Ulloa deal Sunderland are poised to make a late move for Leicester striker Leonardo Ulloa. Ulloa, 30, is set to fall further down the pecking order at the champions with the imminent arrival of Islam Slimani from Sporting Lisbon. But after assessing his options today boss David Moyes has sanctioned a move for Ulloa. And he is ready to offer the Argentinian a route out of Leicester and regular first-team football. Ulloa - Leicester’s club record £8m signing when he joined two years ago - was already struggling for game time last season. He made just seven league starts, scoring six times, in Leicester’s triumphant title-winning campaign. He was already behind Jamie Vardy and Shinji Okazaki at the King Power Stadium last season. Summer arrival from CSKA Moscow Ahmed Musa has leapt ahead of Ulloa in the queue and Slimani is set to further limit his chances.
Been out most of day, spent the last hour catching up on here, all positive news. We just need some confirmations from the club and we will feel we've had a decent day, fingers firmly crossed.
