Cole Kpekawa has completed his move from QPR to Barnsley. West London Sport revealed last week that Barnsley had submitted an offer for the defender, 20, and later revealed that a deal had been agreed for him to move to Oakwell. Kpekawa, a product of Rangers’ youth system, was not in manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s first-team plans. He made nine senior appearances for QPR, the most recent coming in this month’s EFL Cup game against Swindon.

I think the fact that this guy's account has only been active this 'month' and describes himself as 'wife beater' may throw up a few clues to its authenticity!
He was sold yesterday for £450,000,another young player shown the door. We badly need some cover at full backs,we only have Perch,Onuoha and Bidwell who are currently fit and Robinson who is on his way back. Onuoha isn't even a full back and Robinson looked toilet when he was at Liverpool !
I thought he looked half decent back then to be honest. Not gone too well for him since then of course, but hopefully he can do a job for us if called upon
I think the plan is that Newcastle and Villa buy every professional footballer in the world and guarantee promotion by playing the remaining games against amateurs.
If you had a choice of a year in Rome or a year in Thornton Heath - where would you go? Wheelchair needs shooting if he goes to Palace
Henry can play RB, also the other youngster beginning with a K. Aren't we still more shørt at CB with Kwep sold? I can only think of Hall and Caulker (if he doesn't go today) plus Ned who seems the main RB, and Lynch who is injured still I think.
Just seen that Kepeawa has gone to Barnsley? Funny one that. I would like to hear why we let a young player go.
Just heard Jack Wilshere's loan deal is off. He fell through the transfer window and as a result will be out for six months...
stg£450,000 apparent reasons Good business for a lad who was 3rd or 4th choice left back, didn't cost us anything, pure profit. This is what we should have been doing for the last 20 years, developing players and selling on..........
Classic: Boro saying that the Adhoma deal is not done yet Villa Chairman saying it is. That would be funny if it fell through.
There was a picture of him on the beeb website a couple of hours ago wearing a villa shirt!!!!!! Here it is with tweet... Share Share this post on Twitter Facebook Read more about these links. I'd like to see us get more 1st team use ftom our home grown players and more money eventually, than we have with Kwep! If he has been with us a few years his development could have cost 450 K in total, not just his cost but the trainers etc etc.
