I can't understand why we're being linked with Matty James and Dale Stephens, the last thing we need is more central midfielders.
I think with attacking players (and they are the hard ones to get) in midfield or up front it's intelligence. Making the right decisions, knowing when to move and find space. Plus having a better touch which enables a team to hold onto the ball longer.
Tim Thornton @TimThornton3 Expecting another busy day @HullCity.Two, possibly three new arrivals with a midfielder and a striker the priorities.
Must be a wide midfielder and logic would suggest Gradel is a good bet. I do wonder though if the rumour mill has created this story based on nothing more than a) he's not playing and b) he's played in the area before. I've honestly never rated him but at least he's quick.
I'm not overjoyed at the thought of Max Gradel. He's alright but surely there's much better out there.
I figured this would be the case, I think we will be going for: Henriksen a CB on a full deal full back on loan forward/winger in loan I also have a feeling that Kanu-Robson might come in now we are seen to be more stabke
Everything coming out of the club suggests we've dropped all interest in Henriksen, despite what they're saying in Norway.
Strange that they're so sure he's signed over there, and strange that we've dropped all interest. Ah well.
Matty James being ex Man Utd and the Phelan connection, but for that believe that would be dead in the water. Loan with view to permanent, good experience and would not be a big fee by todays standards.
If we get a quality striker in, I will be very happy to max gradel added to the list as well. There's nothing better than a bit of depth
