Personally I think it's worth risking that Maynard doesn't sign his contract with Bristol City and we put all our resources in to Long. Then, come the summer when we're hopefully in the Prem, we might get Maynard on a free and team him up with Long....what a strikeforce that would be!
Bones become weaker after they are broken Years back when James Wesolowski broke his leg against Celtic and then returned and broke the same leg at Brighton he said had it been his other leg he would of been fine but because it was his weak leg it got broke
Proud, I can tell you categorically from scientific point of view, bones do not become permanently weaker after a fracture. The only way it is plausible that a previous break would have affected a new one, would have been if the mineralisation process I mentioned hadn't finished, and the de-mineralised area in another part of the bone was weaker - a) this should be picked up by the club doctor and b) the break would occur in a different area of the bone as the previous locale, as mentioned, would be stronger for this interim period. If this wasn't the case with Wesolowski, then the break would have just been an unfortunate coincidence and as likely to happen with the other leg.
Correct I have broke a leg and ankle, they will never break in exactly the same place as a lump of bone forms around the break in the repairing process.
"The casualty thread... my heart was broken......bitch..... " Yeah but Robbie has rejoined Take-That now.....
Back on the casualty theme - Ironic break - I fractured my little finger when I was a teenager, which is called a 'boxer's break'...I was play-fighting with Rendall Munroe...!
Ha ha, possibly Barwell. He was the skinniest lad you have ever seen though. Quick as lightening though, used to run the 1200m at our school with no shoes on!
Going back to moronic fans - I don't think I'll ever forgive the idiotic stick from the Plymouth fans the year we got relegated. Very easy to kick a man when he's down. And where are they now?...
