Whatever you think of Haigh, and it's likely he knew what was going on, directly involved or not, there is a saying, The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Loathe him or like him, he can be a big help in getting rid of GFH for us; at this moment in time, unless things change, he is an asset.
Chances of me going to Dubai ever again <1%, chances of me breaking one of their laws 0%, chance of you ever accepting anyone has a differing opinion to you and you not getting on your high horse less than 0%. Sorry to the rest of this I have tried to engage properly with jock but he seems to need to brow beat at every turn... #givinguptrying
If you lay down with dogs you get fleas. He already knew everything about gfh before being dumb enough to fly to Dubai on the promise of a job with more cash. He knows about gfh because he thought and was happy to be one of them. He hasn't turned into a man of principle he is just bitter because he was dumb enough to be their fall guy.
You condemn critics of Haigh as having no evidence but appear to accept Haighs innocence on media reports much of them engineered by Haigh. I have no "evidence" but my opinion was that he was a con man at first sight.
I shook hands with the man in front of 25000 people and still thank my lucky stars I still have all my fingers. #alwaysfollowthemoney #haighhadnone
I am not saying that DFH is whiter than white what I would say is I bet you cannot find one successful big business man that does not sail close to the wind. Just a few examples Richard Branson Sir Phillip Green Mike Ashley Rupert Murdock
Elland Back @EllandBack1 @haighdavid David, We all look forward to the day that you take gfh down and expose their corruption, lies & dishonesty. please log in to view this image David Haigh @haighdavid 1h1 hour ago David Haigh I bought them in, it's my responsibility to get them out, so that LUFC can move forward.
There were copies of emails/texts posted on here not so long ago with Haigh being on'em. What I find hard to understand and fathom is, if Haigh allegedly stole 4m from GFH, which GFH were claiming, then why would someone with 4m of alleged stolen money in bank somewhere put himself at risk by going back to the company he allegedly stole the money from......it doesn't make sense........most, if not all crooks who did it would distance themselves from the company, plus, Haigh would've cottoned on to what tricks GFH were up to and refused to go to Dubai.........like I mentioned, it doesn't make sense. No charges were brought against him as far as I know and, why was he kept in jail for so long without charge..........wouldn't GFH be eager to get their money back if they could...........again, it doesn't make sense. As far as I'm aware, there are still active arrest warrants waiting for 2 of the GFH members should they step on British soil again. If Haigh goes after GFH, which sounds likely, will we hear of GFH bringing a court case against Haigh in the near future as retaliation, even more so if the content of the book is damaging to GFH. I mentioned awhile back that I suspect Haigh will be the whistleblower in regards to GFH, many said he wouldn't, but here we are reading about how he's going to blow the whistle on'em. I fully understand those who loathe Haigh for whatever their reasons, but looking at it from different angles may give you a different picture to umm and arr about, and let's not forget, the enemy of my enemy is my friend; for the time being Haigh is on our side. I suspect there's still plenty to come out yet, I don't think Haigh revealed everything in his interviews, and I believe he mentioned that. Everything he said in the interview would be evidence against him if he is guilty of nicking 4m from GFH, that's a big risk to take for someone who allegedly stole 4m. Simon O'Rourke, who is respected by many seems to believe him. From memory, wasn't it O'Rourke who obtained all those documents a while back and made them public? Why don't we wait and see what transpires, I have a funny feeling some of us are going to be surprised, and some of us not so surprised.
If you are waiting for the truth about Leeds United over the past several years you are going to be disappointed. I think everyone involved lied in their own interest. I suspect Phil Hay and Peter Lorimer could shed some light on it if they chose, but it might reflect badly on them.
Yes, what you are referring to is :- https://www.scribd.com/collections/2467335/Leeds-United-Accounts-Various-Ownership-Issues And http://www.not606.com/threads/leaked-documents-that-gfh-dont-want-you-to-see-allegedly.288404/
So you would prefer me to point out the obvious truths and see a new row kick off. WJ won't want to hear how everything he posted was old news and David Haigh is just rehashing the same myths over and over hoping that if he repeats a lie long enough people will believe it. Perhaps Haigh believes it. Can I remind you that in statements Haigh released whilst incarcerated he repeatedly said how he respected the rule of law in Dubai and how well the police and judiciary were treating him. Seems he liked it until he disagreed with a verdict. I don't believe Haigh any more than I do gfh, Cellino or bates before them. They are or were only interested in milking cash fronm the club and the supporters.
