We should be developing a style of play that numerous people can play in, be that whitts or someone else. Don't build a team around a player but a style. Thought we were working towards a style, but apparently not.
time doesn't stop for anyone and im sure whitts would agree he aint in his best form of his career anymore......that free kick yesterday was whitts type territory and I so wanted him 2 roll back the years but he fanny farted again and sent it ten feet above the oppositions bar.....ok he isn't the only one who fks up a free kick but still a few years back I would have put my house on him hitting the target and working the keeper. he will do a job in the squad no doubt but im hoping we got the right man 2 take on his position and make it his own, im hoping the transfer market hasn't ended for us just yet I tell thee.
The delivery for the 2nd Duffy own goal v Blackburn was as good as you will get. Completely OTT in my opinion. If we stay up it will be a lot to do with set pieces. We aint going to play our way to safety.
