Curtis didn't make the squad...

Shame for the man... Jagielka, Stones and Smalling did... I thought Allardyce would not be an FA yes man, but patently he is..

 

First thing Jose did at United was drop Smalling and rightly so and he definately isn't international level.

Have we forgotten that in the Euros, not 2 months ago, we played like an embarrassing group of clueless clown shoes, so we change the name on the top of the headed note paper then change **** all after that.

curtis davies has more important concerns this season.

 

All 3 are better than him as is Cahill.

 

We've been back in the PL three games and we're already overhyping our players.

Cool.

 

Maybe Alladyce will have the same effect on those players that Phelans had on ours.

They've gone from not good enough for the PL to 5th and warning plaudits for their attitude.

 

Curtis can also play for Sierra Leone or Ireland, I suspect if he's called up by the latter he will take it.

 

And we can't afford for him to get injured in international duty. Sorry Curtis.

 

Rate he is going, there will be a few mentioning Livermore at centre-half for England by the end of the season- looked superb so far

 

Curtis is about 40 now isn't he? Can't see the point in bringing him in to the fold now. He wouldn't be in it long.

 

Davies should be in on form, there's no overhyping going on

 

That said I'm glad he's not, we need him all season if we are going to stay up

 

I think he's made his first blunder by not picking Rashford, still anybody's better than Woy

 

It never ceases to amaze me why people get irked at stuff like this, it's absolutely ****ing brilliant that he didn't make the squad.

 

Depends how passionate you are about your players making the national squad, it's a bad thing for us at the moment but surely any English City fan gets pride from seeing one of the City lads play for England

 

I'd make the F.A. even more of a laughing stock if we started giving out caps based on 3 games.

 

Not really, there were plenty of neutrals saying Davies should be in, can't see how that makes the FA a laughing stock

 

Commentators during the game were pretty effusive in their praise for him and his chances of being in the squad, so it's not just a City thing.

That said I'm happy for as many of our players as possible to get a week off.
