I arrived about 4 30 to watch - the queues outside the west stand were about 50 yards long an hour before kick off - and what the **** was that balloon - City of Culture - we know what we are - first time I've seen the word City being used by the club for months
I arrived at 5.20 and West Park was packed, presumably because a lot of people had just watched the end of the rugby. I like the City of Culture thing.
I saw massive queues at stiles 23 and 26. 24 and 25 had about 8 people queueing. Is there a reason for this ? Shirley those in 23 or 26 can use 24 and 25 ?
In that case the problem seemed to be with West stand turnstiles in particular entrance 29 / 30. As I said earlier some people must've missed 20 minutes of the match and many of them arrived before you did

Maybe with a little more forethought from the club the ****wits who don't use it properly could have been helped. They knew that the game was sold out, so why not open the turnstiles say half an hour (or more) earlier? There are lots who may want to get into the ground early to watch the superstars train, and then maybe spend money on scoff / drinks on the concourse when Man Utd came out. Perhaps the stewards could have taken ALL of the covers off the various gates, so **** wits could actually scan their tickets to get in. Maybe the club should just go back to one steward per gate, which by default was pretty much the case yesterday anyway.
Yeah that is late, even for me I arrived at KC about 15/20 mins late once though and had to hunt round for someone to let us in because it was all closed up By the time I found someone capable of opening a door there was about 10 of us, all arrived separately I am quite slack though, and struggle due to having no willpower when someone asks 'shall we squeeze another pint in?'
Turnstile 26 a bloke got in and then the turnstile stuck, he was in their for about 5 minutes before a steward found out how to release him. Simple really open the bloody turnstiles more than an hour before the match, they may even sell more beer etc.
Yesterday the Turnstiles opened at 4,30pm, ie an hour before in the past it's been an hour and a half before. I thought that it was probably a parting gesture of two fingers to the fans by the Evil ones.
Usually is but it was 4.30pm yesterday unless my watch was wrong. Wife dropped me off after 4 hrs drive from home about 4.10pm I walked through the park to my turnstile 26, found there was a massive queue there. They eventually opened it at 4,30pm and then the turnstile stuck with the man in it. A lot of the ****wits around me had never been before, some were from Barnsley there to see Man U. They were ****ing up the entry by putting their tickets on the machine when it clearly said WAIT, well what can you expect if they were from Barnsley.
We got to the ground at about 4:15 and there were massive queues at all entrances, why they have to wait until an hour before kick off to open them is beyond me, particularly with a sell out match. But we went into the shop to look at all the overpriced sh*te and then went to entrance 6(a-c) at about 4:40 and got in no problems. In fact we rarely have any long queues to contend with, the main problems seems to be with casual fans with printed tickets that don't know how to scan correctly and so delaying everyone else.
There was no queue at all at 6a-c last night, even at 5:15, but there was a large queue for the turnstiles the other side of the club shop. I reckon 6a-c caters mostly for season ticket holders.
Next time take a walk to the front of the queue. You'll see 24 and 25 with almost no queue and just join either one of those. Don't tell anybody, just between us
I noticed the one I went through had the word "offline" written on it underneath the "scan" and "enter" screens but none of the others did (East stand entrance near the bridges).
