I know; it's sad, it's also why Hull will never really change for the better; too many of its residents hate each other over pettiness.
Aye, it's what they say in Alabama, South Africa and wherever else bigotry flourishes. Time for change, maybe, or is it easier, or just plain preferable to tarbrush everyone and feed the monster.
What do you reckon Rovers fans think about it? Or come to think of it do you reckon Man utd fans will be cheering on Man City in the champions league this season, what about Everton fans loving it when Liverpool win? Ok I know it's a different sport but the rivalry exists and i can assure you, for many it's both ways.
The ones I know, Man C or U, Sunland or Newcastle, would shake the hands of their mates who support their rivals who win something like this. That is what this thread should be; simply have the style to say well done and take the petty ****ing small mindedness else where four a day or so. Some folk just have no quality, I suppose it's that simple,
Still success for the City of Hull never the less. But it goes both ways doesn't it? As is been proved on here. Yes I have had snide comments and jubilation from fellow FC fans when City lose. Also Vice Versa. When I was much younger I hated Rovers and the more they lost by the better, now I want them to win to keep the rivalry going and last year YES I wanted them to win at Wembley. Now it is banter and NOT hatred. I love both my teams with equal passion. Maybe the Rovers and City thing is a East West thing Both FC & City being closer makes for more rivalry just guessing.
Yes, but some of the more delicate petals on here get all flustered at the banter and start giving it the big serious Kofi Annan.
Why should there be a rivalry between clubs which play different sports? Other than FC fans worried that when City do well they take support away from FC and get more coverage. Used to live in Leeds and you never saw this sort of thing there. And, despite Leeds RL winning far more trophies than Leeds United no claims it was a rugby town. Didn't happen in Bradford either. Hull is a rather insular, parochial place which could be the reason.
I don't disagree with most of this but it is two way traffic as many on here have said they wanted Hull FC to lose so this is not one sided is it? I know many FC fans who are dickheads ... As I do City fans. I love both teams with a passion.
That's fine mate, I guess you must be much thicker skinned than me and some others on here. After all it's all about opinions. I didn't criticise anyone for wishing Hull success but got jumped on when i stated my feelings about it.
**** fc, stupid ****s playing a small provincial sport supported by idiotic ******s. Get this ****ing thread deleted
Pleased for the FC followers who like City or want them to do well but the dicks who call City crap and or are plastics who support another big football team who they have no connection with can go to hell .
