Give it a bashing and tenderise it before you cook it. Morrisons promotional rump steaks can be tough as old boots.

Not in my experience mate, the secret is not to over cook it, rub oil onto the steak, get your griddle pan extremely hot, then flash fry for no more than two minutes each side. Result is a tender rare piece of meat <ok>

I hope they also got a roasting!!!

On a slightly different note, why is it that in quite a few games, the entire team has a stinker?? It happened quite often last season (and in previous seasons) - Bournemouth and Everton away, Sunderland at home to mention a few that I remember from last season, so I.m not convinced it's down to AN. Thoughts

Jerome was injured - no update from AN on that one, so Naismith was the striker!! <doh> What does that guy have to do to be dropped???
Seems like the entire team didn't play well and even Canos had a bad game - Whittaker was his usual rubbish and gave away a penalty.

Someone said at the wedding we were 2-0 down, but he was a Rangers fan, and thought he was winding me up. Only just seen the score and line up. I can't believe we played Naismith as a solo striker. Plus Whittaker at RB?! Jesus. Other than those 2, I expected a lot more from those players that started! From the match report it looks like no one bothered, and AN was a bit "disappointed".

It's a long season and you will get bad results but when you put so much effort and money into going to a game to get presented with such tosh it is pretty disappointing

Whittaker at fault so much so poor it was embarrassing, Brady also got done several times so just hope Pinto and Ollson are back after the break

Even Klose made a couple of errors but at least he slapped his own face after one of them and showed genuine anger and passion about it saw none of that from the full backs

Bennett was solid will be fuming if he gets the blame for any of that Martin should have been at RB and then we could have at times played 3 across the back and give freedom for Brady to bomb on

Never mind match forgotten, standing on the train from Peterborough to Brum not as have backache this morning

My line up prediction was Martin at RB. Wish AN had listened to me.

Read this excerpt from the BBC match report :emoticon-0112-wonde :emoticon-0145-shake

"Gary Rowett's side had previously dropped five points from leading positions, but the closest Norwich came to scoring was a Jonny Howson effort which was ruled out for offside.

Birmingham could have had an earlier penalty, with Jonathan Grounds going down under an Elliott Bennett challenge, only for appeals to be waved away."

See people saying that it wasn't a lack of striking options that cost us the game. Naismith was anonymous. Clayton Donaldson was superb, made a nuisance of himself, chased down long balls and harassed the centre halves much like Cameron Jerome does. For me Donaldson is a mediocre player but he played very well and put his team before himself. He was lucky that we gifted him two goals but take nothing away from his performance.

Naismith did none of those things and he clearly isn't an effective number 9. What's more, I think Maddison, Wes and perhaps Pritchard are more deserving of Naismith's favoured number 10 role on the basis of recent showings. AN, don't be afraid to bench Naismith.

We sorely missed Jerome yesterday. Since Naismith can't play in the Cam-Jam role and Kyle Lafferty isn't going to be a given a real chance there, get someone in who can!!

Finally, we had Pinto, Jarvis, Olsson, Ruddy and Jerome out for that dreadful game. That's our first choice left back (Brady should only play in midfield), right back (if Pinto isn't fit, Russ should play), striker and goalkeeper all missing. With the non-triers Naismith and Whittaker reflecting on the bench and those guys back in the team, there's no way we can play this badly again! OTBC
