Yeah, am getting to that point. I think the Puel criticism is far too much far too soon though. Feels like a hangover from the fact he was nobody's first choice when he came in, so people are expecting/hoping/thinking he's going to be poor. If it had been a "big name" manager, we'd all be saying "well the players are getting used to his methods, we need to give him and them time". Not saying he's great, just saying we don't know after two and a half games what we have yet.
Really? Romeu is covering a lot of ground so we are effectively playing with one less holding player than last season. And no wingers to help fullbacks.
Sunderland will go in at half time thinking they can win this. We look clueless in the final third again - wrong options chosen, poor final pass. Austin is looking 'lost' out there and I always thought Redmond acted a prick on occasion at Norwich and he sadly showed this today. The balance of the team looks wrong still - CP needs to get this fixed - ideally for the second half... Defoe still oozes quality.
Defoe's just waiting to pounce, hel have a chance at some point second half and I won't be surprised when he takes it.
Sadly, I also think Hojbjerg completely disappeared after about 20 minutes. He needs to get his ass in gear against teams who will work their arses off in this league.
4-2-3-1 With Romeu and Hojbjerg as the midfield two. Hojberg slightly ahead of Romeu. Tadic Davis Redmond in the 3.
