Always watch Kane and think he is easy to manage. Just force him out wide and he is useless.

Mane and Alli were both lucky to stay on the pitch. Mane for persistent missed timed challenges and Alli for "kneeing" Firmino

Disappointed we didn't take all 3 points. Deserved to win.

But a point away against a top 4 rival isn't too bad.

Best points from today is Matip. Looked excellent, and the type of defender we've been crying out for. Calm, good on the ball, sensible, organised and very tall.

Also, I'm glad Sturridge only got a few minutes, this means he'll know next time he starts he'll have to put in a big performance - he knows he's not a guaranteed starter now so he'll have to up his game.

All in all a positive afternoon.

Not impressed with Spurs this season so far, so another positive. Can't see them doing anything near what they did last season.

Meh, should have won that really. Matip and Lovren looked good and I thought Henderson looked alright too, particularly in the first half. Bit of a limp attack at times and I really don't see what others (and Klopp) see in Firmino; most of his goals last season were tap ins or scrappy, he's very slow and tries to do too much. Would sooner play Sturridge over him.

Can't complain too much with 1-1, but Spurs were there for the taking.

Lol....I think not...he got dragged in when a CB had it covered...if CB let's the attacker get there first...his fault..not Clynes job there

If all other games finish as a draw that game won't be a bad result

We've played 3 games away and should have won all 3. Anfield will be rocking when we play these teams at home.

Not a great start to the season, but a draw away to Spurs isn't too bad.

Sorry, but that was not acceptable. Good as the first half was, apart from the finishing, the 2nd half was abysmal. Spurs were better (not difficult) but we faded badly. Klopp didn't react. What's the point of bringing Sturridge on with 3 mins left? Lallana went off with 30 seconds of extra time left. He should half been replaced 30 minutes left. He was non existent 2nd half.

Reason we dropped two points today. Same reason we lost against Burnley.

    1) Left Back. Milner was out of position. He played a decent game overall but an experienced left back wouldn't have made that mistake.

    2) No top class striker. If we had a decent striker we would have won.

I think those two positions are going to cost us all season long.

I hope the inconsistency that plagued us last season will go. We could easily be sitting on 9 points and at the top of the league. This is a match we should have won, and the burnley match too.

All in all a promising start but we can't afford to miss opportunities for wins (even against top clubs) if we want to challenge for the cl or higher.

Disagree totally, and it's all if's and buts.

Towards the end I felt both mangers were happy with a point, hence the late subs.

We should have won. Even in the 2nd half we had the better chances.

Can't blame it on the ref. Ref handled the game acceptably today. La La was offside. Spurs wasn't.

That's the issue. Klopp will be working so hard to ensure we don't suffer from being so unpredictable.

It's early days and so far we look very dangerous going forward. Matip will now hopefully stay at CB and tighten things up. Migs also being replaced should tighten us up further.

I still think a LB might come in. For a manager to play a CM at LB suggests he knows deep down he needs a specialist badly.

That's football! After 20 mins of the 2nd half it looked to me as though we were letting Spurs back in to the game. We were geting sloppy and starting to lose 50/50 challenges. Some of our players thought the game was done. It wasn't.

Klopp is the opposite Rafa. Rafa used to play LBs in CM from time to time. (esp. Aurelio). Rafa was cold and calculating and Klopp is warm and embracing.
