obertan FFS

    Chronicle is linking us with Gabriel obertan. I watch a lot of Man utd games on account of they're my mates team. ive seen absolutely nothing from this lad. he might beat his man once a game and then do **** all for the rest of the match. he runs round like a headless chicken.

    however, hes going cheap. which means hes on the radar. personally i'd rather take a punt on max gradel if we want to try and get someone cheap in. obertan...no thank you.

    Hmmmm, a terrible shout imo. We've already got backup, with the likes of Sammi, Meidi, Donaldson, Airey. I'd prefer any of them to Obertan.

    I mentioned this on the Macheda thread too, I doubt Sralex will loan anyone to us after what happened with Rossi.

    I dont see why? We have a different manager now, and Macheda would get games for us.

    Has it dawned on anyone that we're having to scrape the barrel for the likes of Obertan because all the class players/ hot prospects take one look at us and think "Newcastle? It's a cricus up there. No thank you"...

    I honestly believe that the recent behaviour of the club and Barton has (further) damaged our reputation and potential signings will think twice before coming anywhere near us.

    No, it hasnt at all. As Chappaz said, we've sold 2 players and Barton has talked his way out. Hardly a circus.

    It's funny how much things can change in the space of a few months. Remember those halcyon days when everyone was upbeat and we were being linked with the likes of Gameiro and Gervinho? Seems like a ****ing long time ago, eh.
