Didn't Huddlestone talk to Sunderland too? I seem to recall Sunderland fans gloating, and then disappearing, when he chose us over them.
The truth is that he is a poster on here and really wants us to get to 400 pages before we sign anyone.
Looking at Cardiff's forum, a poster claimed it was a done deal yesterday, of £2.5m potentially rising to £5m.
It doesn't help when we are made out to be a joke club even by those who are our supporters on social media. The word needs to get out from these people that we have new owners taking over. It's time for everyone to move on from the Allams.
Good player, not one we really need though. Considering the limited time available we would be much better off concentrating on signing a CM, RB, LB and ST before GK.
Have you read The Hull City 14 thread? If not, you should. City have turned a negative image/laughing stock into a very positive image - of a valiant, hard-pressed bunch of players, who a lot of people are following.
Keep saying it but get a few players from the championship, with a point to prove. Wages will be cheaper and a relegation clause can be put in. Cos that will be what's delaying the negotiations.
That might be the thinking behind us going after Hogan from Brentford. Was talking to a Brentford fan the other day who reckons he's worth around £10m. That's a hell of a lot for someone who's only played 11 league games for them. Although in realty itd probably be less than that if we got him. But they really rate him there.
Not with a cruciate knee injury on the same knee twice he isn't. I'd steer well clear of him to be honest.
