I hope Spurs don't sign Zaha. When we had him on loan at Cardiff from Manure he was an absolute waste of space who had no respect for the fans and club. In short, I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire!!!

When playing against us our ex-right back, Kevin McNaughton, used to pick him up at the start of the game, put him in his pocket and keep him there either until the end of the game or when our left back wanted a bit of fun.

There's a few stories going around saying the main reason Yedlin was moved on was so we could start to introduce KWP into the team.

If there is some truth to this, rather than putting 2 + 2 together in order to get Paraguay, it makes a certain amount of sense: Walker would be playing the majority of our Premier League and Champions League games, while Trippier or KWP will feature in the cups while getting the occasional league start or cameo off the bench - something that wouldn't be possible if we were also having to juggle Yedlin at the same time.

Meanwhile, here's Will Miller looking utterly thrilled to be at Burton...

Zaha could be one of those "threats" to Marseilles to pull their fingers out. Don't count on it til he's holding up the shirt.

Cue him holding up the shirt in the shortest ever Spurs transfer saga......

  6. I can see no good reasons to spend £1 on Zaha let alone £15m.
3 or 4 years ago he was an exciting, emerging talent. He is now damaged goods,
    Really hope this doesn't happen!

If you thought Zaha was bad...
Tottenham are considering a move for Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala before Wednesday's transfer deadline, a source close to the club has told ESPN FC.

That has to be Levy colluding with Man Utd to inflate the price that
the Spanners will pay for him.

EDIT : the Spanners won't be needing him now.

Adamski: Cue a glut of teams trying to poach Payet with the promise of European football if we get knocked out of this.

    Cheeky punt ?? :)

Sorry, I was holding back a bit. He is a great player - in his mind.

Put it this way, at Cardiff it was a toss up as to who was the worse loan signing - him or Ravel Morrison!!!

Only Spurs could qualify for the CL and sign Wanyama and Zaha.

    No ambition.

Parish has come out and said that our bid for Zaha was a ludicrous £12m and he's not for sale.
I hope this is the case, but we all know how the transfer window works..

"We've told Spurs that there is really no point bidding for him because he is going nowhere - 100 per cent guaranteed.

Can we cement our relationship with Southampton fans by signing another of 'their' players in Boufal instead of pissing about with Zaha?

For Zaha read Berahino and Parish is sounding a lot like Peace to my ears,

    What would be ambitious?

I get Zaha may not be everyone's cup of tea and if we go by what Parish said, he won't be coming anyway but Wanyama is a solid Prem DM, for £11m, we've picked up essentially a £20m player when considering the fees in the current market, he's slotted into the side superbly and grabbed a winner on his home debut... Can't really ask for much more.

I personally don't think there are many players out there that are better than our first XI who we could attract to the club.
