Champions League Draw

As champions we are in pot 1 and cannot be drawn against any other English team.

Knowing our luck we'll end up with Athletico Madrid, Sporting Lisbon and Monaco...

 

Just looking at that (not sure if it's possible with coefficient and what not) i'd like a group of Copenhagen, Club Bruges and Leverkusen.

 

The only rules are that clubs from the same country can't get picked - I would like Napoli, Club Brugge and Celtic.

 

I'd like Sevilla, Brugge, Kobenhavn. Purely because I think I can get there.
We'll probably get Atletico, Kiev, Besiktas.

I'm still in awe looking at pot 1 that that is us in the Champions League.

 

The toughest draw doesn't seem that bad.

I'd fancy us to get out of that group.

In fact, I'd prefer that to the so-called easiest group.

 

Don't understand why Spuds could not be drawn in group B ?

 

Russian and Ukranian clubs have been kept apart - Dynamo Kiev couldn't been drawn with CSKA Moscow.

 

We are in group G and have Porto, Club Brugge and FC Copenhagen.

Not a bad draw tbh - should at least get 2nd in that imho.

 

3 very nice & accessible cities. Just the problem of getting tickets now!

Couldn't be better. Winnable group, 3 nice clubs in nice cities, and we've avoided going to anywhere scary or far away like Ukraine, Russia or Turkey.

Nice cities for the fans but more importantly no long distance trips for the players.

 

Kasper will be happy with a trip to Copenhagen again.

 

We certainly can complete in this group.

 

Amartey will as well.

 

Certainly could have been worse, think it will be down to who underestimates who the most.

They will certainly be relieved to miss the Barcas, Reals etc, but we shouldn't judge them as easy games either. Hope we can make it to the knockout stages.

Think our goal has to be to outlast one of the other english teams, so we don't "embarrass" the premier league

Celtic look screwed, maybe they could drag Man City down with them
