Problem with some of our fans in 4 words. Slating a new player who's had little time to bed in with the senior pro's around him and is 21 years old with minimal experience in the top division. I agree Love has been poor, but, as Moyes says, he's been brought in as back up and forced to start. (That's how I understand it anyhow) Robson only looked OK to me - nothing rubbish and nothing special - but remember, most on here wanted Khazri to start - he started last night and looked like he'd borrowed an Andy Reid body kit and looked like he couldn't run in the first half - Moyes sees these players more than we do - you are looking from a perfect SAFC world scenario "Robson is much better because he had a very good game pre season" One pre season game doesn't make him better or worse. Pretty sure I have seen Rodwell play well once! If he looked good enough, do you not thing Moyes would've played him? He's done it with Asoro and he certainly doesn;t seem to have a problem throwing the youngsters in
It would **** me right off. To the point I'd look for another club. Hope we don't lose a club developed promising RB for a for a kid who played the same league last year and looks miles off his standard. Could prove to be a big mistake
Yeah - Our academy seems to be producing some high standard players so why buy other youngsters who are probs no better - we need quality EXPERIENCED players to provide the composure & guidance for the younger players
Highlights up on safc.com Worth it for the goal, Gooch's throughball and Pickfords kick.. http://www.safc.com/news/team-news/2016/august/highlights-v-shrewsbury
"Gooch's throughball" you mean the one a bit earlier than the goal, to Van Aanholt? Great vision. For the goal, Pickford's kick to Watmore was just the kind of distribution we haven't had in a long time. Good run from Watmore, but despite the criticism of Khazri, he picked up the loose ball and made the assist to Januzaj, plus he followed up for any rebound. So hopefully not too far off being fit as this was late in the game.
Aye, the one where he showed 180 vision. Great piece of play. I don't buy this Khazri fat bollocks, if folk compared him to last season he actually looks lighter now. Nobody grumbled last season.
