Yeah, funny how Fergie never thought the same thing "could kill" supporters as well as players. #blamerio
3rd Minute?? Also another couple of awkward moment on left. He was not comfortable. I need to look back at first two preseason games... I'm not sure these pair were not switched.
Distance from kicker, the fact that supporters could see the ball coming and duck or at least tense their neck muscles. Try to find something at least close
This was a nice easy game that was relaxing to watch the minute we scored it was game over. Burton are wide open with little closing down. Just the kind of fixture you want to work up a bit of match fitness.
Enjoyed that. Nice to see us score a few goals and keep a clean sheet even if the opposition were weak. Lookig forward to seeing a similar side week in week out and growing strong together. Mane is a beast. Matip looked strong and hopefully Studge will move forward after this confidence booster. Mignolet saved everything that came his way. #0shotsontarget
And probably very distressing for her. Still, it doesn't seem to bother Coutinho when he blast the ball into the crow 6 or 7 time per game (regardless of who it may hit)
Ah, so Rio was good enough to hit a little old lady from 20/30 yards but Coutinho can't hit the goals from the same distance. Actually that sounds about right, not helping myself here
Our support was small tonight due to the ground capacity but sang right through the match, was like a trip down memory lane tbf, they sang some real oldies like "we don't carry hammers", " a liver bird upon my chest", "the reds are comin up the hill boys"
It was Burton, we were expected to win easily which we did. I guess you think everyone excelled then?
