Hey Mick, on another subject, a new Leeds band you might like. Should be playing a gig soon, I hear. Will find out on their FB page.
What's up Chippy, having a problem with saying my name, doesn't roll off your forked tongue as much. Damn, do we play in white? all these years I thought it was sky blue pink with yellow dots on..............where's specsavers when you need'em.
You're absolutely right Ristac, fishing was out of character for me and I shouldn't have resorted to it, but I agree with you fishing is just an excuse. I did say during my conversation with Josh I purposely put it in there, so it wasn't an excuse I was using. You did say your comments weren't aimed at anyone in particular, but then you posted this in another post "LeedsLover makes in my opinion, the most outrageous match report I have ever seen, then pulls out the 'fishing' card". I'd be very interested, from a personal point of view why you think my match report was outrageous, based on your comment I'm assuming you didn't agree with anything I wrote. In general, I remember when I first came to this forum when fishing was the norm, a few were doing it regularly and others found it funny. I do it once, and admit to why I did it and there's uproar.......why? I don't understand the reason for the fire and flames, is there one rule for one and one rule for everyone else?....or are we all entitled on equal terms. I understand some don't like fishing, I respect that, I'm not a big fan of it myself but if new people see others doing it, they're going to think it's ok too.....aren't they? There are a lot worse things going on on here than fishing, attacking people because they have a different opinion is one of'em, and it's not just aimed at me. I personally can't see any justification or gain in attacking someone because their views are different, no one's going to change anyone's viewpoint or opinion, nor do they have a right too, so why do it?.......only reason I can think of is a hidden agenda that is hurting them personally. I don't attack others opinions, they have a right to voice those opinions on a forum that gives'em the right to do so. I haven't read anywhere that says some people have the right to personally attack other members opinions, and others don't. From what I can gather, not606 was put together by those who wanted to get away from JA606 and not be like JA. This use to be a great forum, I do use the words "use to be" sparingly, but cracks have appeared imo as some resort to the same behaviours as goes on at JA. Most of you came on here to get away from that type of forum, and others join for same reasons, it's the reason I came over, it's the reason Leeds60 came over, I'm still here, but Leeds60 was drummed out, unfairly imo considering what's been going on since. It's up to all us as members to help keep this forum a good one, one where even females can come and voice their opinions without malice, one where everyone is equal, and equally entitled to voice their opinions without malice, one where people can disagree on a friendly basis rather than slinging mud and resort to name calling and revenge seeking, after all, we're all Leeds United supporters. .............................................. For the record, Like Leeds60 I came over to not606 because I grew sick of the crap and fighting on JA, I came over to a better forum. I personally was not banned, chased out, pushed out or ejected etc etc, I made a choice, as did Leeds60. You've all read what Chippy has been saying.........I can't stop you from believing what he writes, that's your choice, all I ask, and suggest is you make your own minds up as individuals. Those of you who remember, before Hopkins came over everything was going smoothly untill he arrived and told a pack of lies about me, he wasn't the only one, they're obviously still hurting about something and still trying to seek revenge, obviously they haven't got it or there'd be no reason to do what they do; then chippy sided with them because of his own hidden agenda, that's when some started to turn against me; that's fine, you made your choice, but look at the situation for what it really is, and it's still ongoing. Paul Hopkins (geldered on ja) comes on to not606 to try and cause trouble for me, I'm well aware of his intentions and what he's said. He then disappears for a while, then pops up again and attacks my comments, then disappears again, the wheel keeps turning. Paul Hopkins (geldered) claimed to go too every match, he also claimed to buy a season ticket every year, then Mike (a cheery on JA) found him out and proved he didn't go to matches. Hopkins (geldered) also verbally attacked me, Leeds60 and others who didn't share his opinion/s. I'm sure you can draw your own conclusions. ............................................... Regarding my opinions on matches, or match reports as some call them, Why can't a person who can't get to matches write an article based on his opinions of a match he either saw on telly/internet or listened to on radio, who's to say they can't do it, or not allowed to do it, who's to say the person isn't giving his views based on how he saw the game but is making it up, who's to say the accuser is right? I'd like to see more people who can't get to matches give their detailed opinions and points of view of the match in a post, they're entitled to do it; it'll make for better reading and friendly debate. We as supporters of Leeds United who can't get to games are entitled to the same things as a supporter who can get to games, there's no bias cos we can't get to games, we're all supporters on equal terms, irrespective........... Signing off, The plastic twat....
Poor ickle you! Stop bleating and ask yourself one question. Is anything ever your fault? You came over here and started bullshitting and bigging up your part from the start deliberately posting in the first person not he second.. I had busted you for it before Paul arrived and confirmed it. Most of us here are mates and are all equal. wj earns the right to write match reports and be respected because he goes to games and knows what he is talking you on the other hand are just a sad sap that pretends to be an expert whilst stealing the views of others. Even Leeds 60 talks more sense than you, so it's unfair if Paul has linked you two together on ja (wouldn't know I don't go there). Take some responsibility, and do something to build some bridges.
LL personally I enjoy reading all you post, and think you bring a lot to the site, love the little videos etc, carry on.Not fishing.
@LeedsLover 1) I felt it was an outrageous match report because you didn't see the game. I admit, I never read it, I skirted over and picked up what it contained by reading replies from the likes of Josh. You could only base it on what you heard on the radio which is 2nd hand and it could be biased (radio reporter) and it is another individuals perspective. Put it this way, if I now went and wrote a match report based solely on what you wrote, how much credibility would it contain? I just really have a problem with reports like this, I scratch my head in amazement how anyone gives it credibility but I know a few do. You are not causing anyone any harm writing them, you obviously enjoy it. Paul Hopkins attacked you on it then I replied with a shame on you for reading it reply. That was actually a tongue in cheek way of saying why read it? 2) I apologise for saying not naming anyone then naming the last two instances. No double standards as I picked up on Billy as well as yourself. Glory assumed I was going at him so it was easier to make it clear, well I thought it would be but it dragged on, my own fault. 3) In my eyes no rule for one and not for another, I made it clear as day, I don't enjoy the fishing that gets personal, I'm in the minority I accept that, I was annoyed at the personal attacks (what I perceive) that use a get out clause of fishing. It means people can get as nasty as they like and when it gets rough for them they can say "haha I got you I was just fishing". You do dish it out as well as take it though 4) I probably disagree with at least 70% of what you write but that is my opinion, I accept it doesn't make me right or wrong. I can easily ignore match reports, I can argue/debate player opinions with you if I choose and I agree with LCW you do bring something to the site, I would not want to see the back of you. It's strange as I know a few on here clash big time with you, I was like that with Sheldon and Leeds60, we're never all going to get on. Glory, Eire, Shaks, WJ - There was a period of time when I was confused as to what was banter and fishing and what (if anything) was anger between them. I knew they went to games together at times so assumed all banter. Then one day something went wrong between Glory and WJ which is sad because if they had been face to face at the time it would never have happened, hence why I prefer to avoid it (Banter, fishing, whatever you want to call it) when I can. I'm not innocent, I have said some regrettable things to people at times but at the time of saying it I meant it, it wasn't banter or fishing
2) I apologise for saying not naming anyone then naming the last two instances. No double standards as I picked up on Billy as well as yourself. Glory assumed I was going at him so it was easier to make it clear, well I thought it would be but it dragged on, my own fault. To clarify. In my opinion it wasn't dragging on it was gentle mocking (mostly of me). Your post and my initial interpretation of it provided much hilarity for others. If it had been repeated in the pub the same mickey taking would have happened.
That just got out of hand and I have made an unconditional apology to wj for my part in it. Wont happen again, but I don't see a need to completely stop having a bit of fun to atone for it..
So is it safe to say weve all put our rods away for the day and if so, when can we take them out again ?
