Think it's more a case of them being to good to finish 5th or lower.

Blackett and Borthwick Jackson have joined the mass exodus of Utd youngster out of OT, they said Maureen had to promise to keep the same policy of bringing youngsters through before he got the job.

Gray has been charged for misconducts following comments he made on Twitter back in 2012.

Now the the comments he made were horrible, but you can't punish people for things 4 years ago. Why didn't they punish him then? Because he wasn't playing in top flight? How far back do you go... Oh someone called someone gay at school so should be fined for it now?

5 years ago being able to kick a football more than 10 yards made you a Wales international <whistle>

<laugh> Genuinely playing in the football league meant you were a shoe in to get a call up to the Wales national team. I remember the days when we were happy that Freddy Eastwood of Southend was eligible to play for us and we were devastated when Jason Koumas was injured.

According to that logic if we caught Hitler alive in 1945 we wouldn't be able to punish him for any crimes pre-1941

Roma v Porto, 1-1 after the first leg (in Portugal), all Roma have to do is win or keep it 0-0.

Roma concede after 8mins, get two players sent off, both straight red and lose 3-0. Failing to qualify for the group stages <laugh>

Saw they had 1 man off and it was 1-0 didn't realise lost another.

See Celtic scraped through and the Irish team just missed out. We're 1-0 up and 2-1 down in leg at one point but drew 1-1 in the end. Shame but trip in Europa will be good for them. Lots of money even for getting there

Porto put Roma out the CL last night and City are all but through.

So in the battle to maintain 3rd in the UEFA rankings we will have 4 teams to Italy's 2 in the higher scoring CL. Of all 6 teams, I can only see Juve or City making serious progress.

In the EL, Sassulo should go through, as should West Ham unless Bilic chucks it ( but I reckon he won't with their big shiny new stadium to fill) so it will be 4 Italian teams against our 3.
