Probably not a hard one to make a case for but MIDDAY 3.10 Goodwood. On her last outing she clearly ran no race and was never looked like beating the winner on horrible ground at the Curragh. With the ground described as good to firm and twice a winner of the Nassau Stakes, She Clearly loves the track. Crystal Capella looked good beating Redwood at Newmarket earlier this month but he didn't really frank that form yesterday in the Coutts Glorious Stakes finishing 4th behind Drunken Sailor. Snow Fairy clearly needed the run in the Eclipse but I still see no reason why she will reverse form with Midday but with Frankie Dettori booked it makes it a little more interesting and I suspect she will give Midday most to do espcially judged on her efforts from last year. But Midday for me, A tough and genuine filly who should claim the Nassau Stakes for a third time. Currently 13/8 with most bookmakers...

Another interesting bet is Klynch in the 2.05 at Goodwood. Well in with the weights and not far behind the market leaders in the race. Currently trading at 25/1

Good luck Istabraq. I fancy Midday aswell today. I'm glad Dettori is booked on Snow Fairy as it will force the price of Midday out a little, particularly with all the winners he's been riding:biggrin:

Istabraq - I've changed the title to Bet of the Day to avoid confusion with the Naps for the Day thread. Hope you don't mind. Good luck.

No problem Ron. Very impressive performance from Horse, Trainer, Jockey. Hope we get to see a rematch between Midday and Misty For Me again this year. Maybe the Yorkshire Oaks...

Nice performance from Midday, 3 Nassau stakes is quite an achievement. The result never realy looked in doubt. Snow Fairy always looked like she was struggling to get on terms, and at no stage did I feel she was going to get past.

The Yorkshire Oaks now looks interesting now Midday has proved she is still at her best. Do we take the view Misty For Me was just to good for Midday at the Curragh, or was MFM flattered up against an out of sorts Midday?

Midday did still pull well clear of the 3rd at the Curragh, so I'm still not convinced that was that bad of a run from Midday. MFM after today's withdrawal clearly needs softer conditions, so we will see

Stoke away to Hadjuk Split, Hadjuk have always been of European pedigree but I think Stoke will be difficult to beat, and will nick it by 1 goal, so have them in with a double of Bruge and Athletico Madrid. I usually prefer doubles, but Stoke offer more than evens tonight.

If you dont like one of them then Dinamo are just under evens as well.
