The resson Ellis wanted Moyes is because he brought Everton stability and success on a budget of 5 mill a year. The thing he ain't sussed out is the league, and money, have moved on. and as you say, his transfer policy has completely obliterated all good will from the end of last season, and even pre-season. Moyes PR needs a lot of work....but he's always been a dour, obstinate ****er.
Getting back to the original topic. No doubt in my mind Khazari is on the way our of the door, couldn't even get on the pitch as a sub yesterday. Looking at that team, we are miles behind what we finished with at the end of last season....its depressing.
Definately like the comparison with the Villans - remember how they had many promising yp"'s who were not their saviours at the end - Villa in Championship now. I HOPE Moyes has not got into a relegation mindset to get back to his early Preston successes. I think Short is facilitating this - he'll walk if we go down blaming Moyes and the fans of course as many will be very emotional. According to ALS Moyes has said that Khazri is in his plans just he was late back and missed a lot of pre season. Edit - Sorry, hadn't read Marcus' match day thread when put this on so didn't realise he had covered it there.
