Tbh we`ll never survive without additions, one of the magnificent 12 will get injured soon enough or banned, then we`re down to the kids.
Sometimes adversity works in mysterious ways. We're doubtful going to achieve the heroics achieved by Leicester last season, but right now I couldn't be prouder of the players that represent our club. Everyone had written them off with the likelihood of breaking the lowest premier league points tally - we've now got 36 games to better that - one game at a time. I have probably understated actually how proud I am. They have been to a man simply outstanding.
Hopefully these last 2 results will make us appealing to any potential signings. I'd feel more worried if we'd lost the first 2 games and lost heavily. The lads have done wonderfully well given the circumstances but we won't realistically keep this up all season so we will need reinforcements. With 5-6 sensible additions we should hopefully have a squad which can stay up.
The first goal was all one touch, second one both Maloney and Abel took two touches, but looked great.
Another thing that Phelan seems to have drastically improved is set pieces. Davies has set two goals up from corners already, and he's had two or three other opportunities to score from them, which might already be more than what he got from set pieces last season!
Spot on, as much as I like the bloke our set piece delivery during the Steve Bruce era has been about as one dimensional as Peter Taylor's method of defending a corner.
Could've been Chazz but I doubt it as we never saw set pieces like we're seeing now prior to Dawson coming in. But whilst we're on that subject how bad a decision does it look right now that Bruce immediately stripped Davies of the captaincy as soon as Dawson joined? We all make good and bad decisions, personally I think that was one of Bruce's poorer ones.

Anyone know if the Diomande substitution was tactical or because if injury? Radio suggested he was hobbling a bit.
