Totally agree FML and well done for predicting the result.
I'd say it was probably fair, but I hope we don't see much of Whittaker playing this season!!!

I feel much much, much, worse after that game, than I did after the Wednesday game. That was hideous.

As soon as the line-up came out, I said he bottled it, way too negative, no width and pace. Ipswich were set up with more attacking intent.

And so it was. AN totally bottled that, and got really lucky.

Unlucky Ipswich, you were by far the better, more competent and organised side. We were a mess from the Keeper to our one and only striker.

piss poor performance overall. - a point - keeps us ticking over at an average of 2pts a game so far

Taking the positive view - a pt when playing badly is great

We better put a £45m bid in for a striker sharpish no good chucking on kids and making Cam play 90 mins every week

I think a point from an overall poor performance is probably just about ok. It could have been worse, we could and probably should have lost!!!

We have the money, and this is desperate. I don't understand why we haven't even bought in any kind of striker. Even if Britt was a target to be our main striker. We still need a 2nd choice/bench striker. Why haven't we even got someone to fill that position?!

He did slice the ball out for a throw a-la Ruddy, and dithered on the ball and was closed down, so rushed the clearance, straight to an Ipswich player, and back they came with an attack. A-la Ruddy. I don't think there's much between them really.

I'm not convinced AN has learnt as much as he could have learnt from last season.

    Same.

He treated this game like the Premiership games of last season, and we looked like we did last season. He should have learned "Don't do that anymore, you're crap at it"

Maybe stretch to £73m? Then we could all have matching replica shirt prices and striker fees? ;)

Agreed that the alarms bells are not ready to ring but in 4 games we have played maybe 90 minutes of good football in total (from what I am reading, hearing and seeing today). So while not tragic , it's not exactly encouraging or inspiring stuff either.

I'm a bit more worried by the fact that Wednesday game was awful, then Bristol we scored against the run of play and only took control the last 20 minutes of the second half, then followed by this today. that's 3 dodgy games in a row. Luckily we've clung on unbeaten. The performances are worrying me.

McGovern made a fantastic point blank save towards the end to keep us in It.
Playing 4 games 3 badly and still not losing is the sort of things that champions do , the longer our unbeaten run stretches even without the marquee signing we can both afford and deserve the better.
Klose is still here Brady is still here if we sell either of them without strengthening I shall both piss and **** my proverbial pants.

Courtesy of suicidal poncing around at the back by Whittaker, who virtually gifted them a shot at goal.
Missed Pinto big time, he was our best player until he went off.

FFS Cromer can't you let go? I don't know what's gone on between you and Dave but well done, it appears you've won the war as he's finally called it a day on not606 :(
