Think this isn't too much Hendo's fault. He's being asked to play as the solitary holding midfielder. There are too many responsibilities for him to do alone. We have no other midfielder that isn't currently pre-occupied with ignoring their defensive duties. Why are we playing 4 number 10's again? All 4 have been disappointing. None have been relentless. None have looked to get in the box. All 4 think their position is just outside it, and they are right. Coutinho should be smart enough to stop shooting in the 70th when it's clearly not going our way.
Remember when you used to play "attack & defence" as kids, this game is like that. Unfortunately defence is winning
Burnley defending well. We haven't had a chance within their box. And our shots from outside have been poor.

We have bigger problems in midfield than at left back. There is no way you will convince me Henderson and Wiji will dominate midfield. There is a massive gap in that midfield. That benteke money better be a midfielder as I cannot stand Henderson
thats why i couldn't understand the Wijnaldum signing couldn't see he offered us anything we didn't already had but he doesn't fix the DM/CM fault
Wijnaldum isn't a CM. He's a number 10 or wide left like Coutinho... like Mane... like Lallana... Like Firmino.... Get Can into CM, he wasn't injured so why is he not fit?
I'd start with Can and Grujic in midfield, use Lucas once fit as defensive mid. Still need to by a left back and defensive midfielder
