Hmm seems not comm. in Sri Lanka at mo and thankfully couldn't get a signal for game.

Taking this further, no signings in or looking imminent, even though nobody really joining in this post, comments on every other post that should be in this one.

Furthermore, Kone down tools, khazri rumoured to be unhappy, moyes suggests relegation battle, smoggies takes down whilst ALL promoted teams win, mags report interest in yedlin.

Sorry just trying to catch up.

My support doesn't fluctuate according to league position ......... if people don't want to support the club they should just stop.

Just seen Dick Advocaat has almost done a deal for Lens to Fenebacci - more deadwood and experience about to go.
Not sure Khazri is here for much longer or if Kirchoff will feature much more - don't think Kirchoff will want to stay now of if he's a Moyes player - a bit too injury prone.
Who is at fault here though - not all Short -Changes are Baines and Moyes - does anyone know on here ?

Lens looked decent when he came on yesterday. He's got undoubted quality and despite assumptions made about him last season he looked willing to graft against Middlesbrough. We have to hang on to players like this. The squad is far too thin as it is; selling players won't help. If this is to generate funds why waste a loan fee and wages on Januzaj when we already have plenty of wingers and/or Number 10s?
I really don't understand Moyes or Short or whoever is calling the shots over transfers

Lens seems to be a favourite of DA so fair enough to let him go when his heart is not particularly here.

The transfer world now is such a murky business at the best of times but add the riches from TV and every selling club and agent will be demanding top dollar for players who are just not worth it. Elite clubs are hoovering up the class youngster then loaning them out rather than releasing them. Pogba is the perfect example of a broken system. It could be argues that ManU do not need him but got a big name to sell shirts and Adidas may well have chucked in some deal to ensure that the transfer went through. Apparently 76m quids of shirts were sold in the far east which sounds a bit fanciful but it could happen over time.

What we bring in has to be hungrier for fame and recognition that will attract riches later otherwise we will end up with an average team draining finances. Effective wheeling and dealing is all we have.

I thought Lens did look like he wanted to be here and that he was hungry against Boro. He worked hard, had some good touches, and looked to compete. We've seen, albeit too briefly, his quality. Selling him is a false economy in my opinion. Why sell a player of undoubted ability and deplete our squad further?

Well apparently in for Barnsley CH -(Maughan?) I think he's trying to copy his successful.recruits like Jagielka, Stones - both worked at Everton but Sunderland are unique - the unexpected happens and not what we want
Really hoping this works -:emoticon-0108-speec won't sell shirts though <doh> !

    Agree worse teams and managers,

But my god if the alarm bells aren't ringing, and then the club has no intention of matching its supporters I Ferrari the only way is down,

We are an established club, we have suffered many a year of ordinary signings, we have now got rid of most, but we are signing little else, first team players wanting out of thread bare squad, what the hell is going on

Just seen a quote on SSN that we are struggling to compete with Premiership rivals and that the players we can attract are not in the same league that he has been used to. Just very negative comments.

The press do like to have a go at SAFC. Maybe we are not a fashionable club like Man U but I would rather a proper team with real fans than a club with a self absorbed tit for a manager and an army of plastic supporters. The press can bog off basically. We will get through this. The reason some sound off on here is because they care about their club and are very frustrated at what has happened this Summer. The FA are a disgrace too in the way they treated the club and its fans. No wonder England underperformance with cnuts like that in charge
