Think we played pretty decent and won't slag any of our players off. I will slag the diamond though, especially when defending. Puel needs to get a few midfielders to help our rb and lb.
Having problems in the final third isn't a new issue, though. We can't just blame the formation for that. And technically we did score - it was just offside. So they are capable of finding the back of the net, just need to not be offside next time.
Hmmm, wouldn't go as far as that. We were woeful first half against Watford and despite 3 good halves of football only 1 goal to show for it. Need to score more goals if we're going to have a good season. Decent today but no better.
It's not a "must-win" by any stretch of the imagination. It's a should win, but nowhere near a must win.

We were probably the better team for 60 minutes against the team I suspect will be champions. Agreed we need a more cutting edge, but I have a feeling we'll be addressing that.
Concentrated on Olympics....kept me calm. Only the second game....shame we couldn't get a goal back, but just move on to the next game.
That was a bloody hard game. Many teams will come away from OT with a right spanking this year. We had no lick at all. The only player I was disappointed by was Tadic. For me the penalty was soft, but such is life.
Positives: VVD, our passing in the middle of the pitch Negatives: defensive concentration, poor finishing, cedric did nothing in final 1/3 It's true we weren't awful, but we didn't really trouble them. Did we even have a shot on target?
