He's very good at clever lay-offs and neat passes, but you are right- he can't run fast and he can't cross. I would say he has played quite well though.
We've been good. Still dislike the formation/tactics, I think width and crosses with a target man are the best way to olay PL football. BUT we've done well. Davis, Cedric and Targett weakest players for me. Davis hasn't been anywhere near his best. We NEED to get Redmond and Tadic on the ball as much as we can.
What im saying is Redmond is still being dragged out wide by his winger instincts. This is leaving Shane isolated like you say. First half is done now , let's win the second.
Sorry one more thing to add is I was panicking like **** when Romeu went off. Clasie seemed to settle in pretty well though, very promising though I hope Oriol is okay.
No to both your claims. IMO Targett has been our weakest player on the pitch and Bertrand would be a huge improvement. So much space and Targett can do nothing to exploit it, and not to mention the feeling of dread when Valencia is charging towards him.
Can't say he's done much wrong. More annoyed with Cedric, seems to have an allergy to running to the byline. He has the pace and skill but takes the easy pass or impossible through ball too often.

Very poor from Davis in closing Rooney down and the one time I saw him give the ball away, or very poor first half from Davis? Not sure it is the latter.
He can cross though. He just seems to still be a little nervous when playing in a Prem game. If you watched him in any u21 games he was great at crossing and even scored from a few freekicks.
Some people like to have a go at him and JWP because they cost no money, I heard so much **** aimed at those two at SMS last season....
