Its been a long wait but the Chairboys winless run has ended with Saturdays 2-1 win over the Mariners it wasn't pretty but a magic free kick by Sido and a last minute winner by Bayo / Stewart gave us the long awaited result our first win since good Friday. Now its Stanleys turn to visit Adams Park having surprisingly lost 2-0 to the Bees at the Hive at the weekend, maybe tied leg after a marathon EFL Cup game last week winning 11-10 on pens against the Bantams, but now it's the Chairboys turn to inflict more punishment. With Chelsea stopper Jamal Blackman having arrived on loan Gareth will pick his fifth different keeper in as many games other changes may be on the cards with Freeman, Rowe and Bayo all pushing for a start. I will be missing at AP for this one with family commitments but I will be following the game in any way I can and expecting the lads to build on Saturdays win and collect anouther 3 points
Bloody tough first half for JJ. The righ Neither gave him a real roasting for most of the first half. Accrington play some really good football and keep possession well. We have had a few good moves also and look very dangerous from set pieces. Defence is going to have to put in a real shift second half to keep in front
FULL TIME: Wycombe 1-1 Accrington I suppose a draw against the team who were unlucky not to get auto promotion last year can't be too bad.
We were dire second half and they embarrassed us with their footballing skills - sorry to say I was wishing the second half away, it was that poor
Very good first half, dire second - makes you wonder what gaz said at half time! Dissapointing performances from JJ and wood but very dissapointing to see fans cheering thier subsitution - not sure how that attitude helps anyone! Second half we never really looked like scoring - we badly need paris weston onien and hayes back, I wouldnt be surprised to see all 4 starting in our regular strongest 11 (if they are all fit at once that is!)
