Marcus Evens has clearly learned from last years World Cup, where you'll remember he was investigated for the same thing, and stayed out of Brazil. Given that it's unlikely he will be extradited I imagine his UK activities won't be affected greatly.

On the other hand and indictment, even without arrest, would put him in a fairly sticky situation with the EFL's fit and proper owner criteria.

Ultimately I imagine nothing will happen, it a Brazilian ticket touting law they have broken, which seems perfectly legal most places, to the extent that it's basically his business model. I can't see much push back here really.

Brilliant business model buy up loads of tickets and sell them for much higher prices....... In half empty stadiums where they can't sell the tickets at their normal prices. No wonder Ipsquit are struggling

Just been trolling on TWTD and this made me chuckle:

ArnieM added 07:12 - Aug 18the reason scum "know the Championship "( whereas Newcastle dont), is because scum ARE and always have been, a Championship outfit. They may get promoted periodically but unlike many other clubs that get promoted, they are incapable of staying up because they (unlike other clubs) are unable to attract players if true PL pedigree - hence their yo-yo club status. They are nothing more than a highly spending, strong Championship Club. They can "big" themselves up as much as they like, but the facts are they are a Championship Club and nothing more. - See more at: http://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/30078/#sthash.gQASgftX.dpuf

Rich coming from a fan of a club who've rotted in the 2nd tier for 14 years <laugh>

As an Ipswich fan, even I thought that was a pathetic attempt at a dig at you guys. He could've at least mentioned our history, from the last century of course

I called up the ticket office at Portaloo yesterday and was told that there are still tickets on General sale for Sunday but I had to have been to an Ipswich home game in the last 10 seasons <laugh>

Couldn't you buy a ticket in person at the ticket office with proof of an IP postcode? I thought that the 'previous purchase' rule only applied to online sales?

At least we are welcoming to away fans Dunc, unlike Norfolk plod who decide to threaten pubs with taking their licence away if they dare to entertain the thought of welcoming town fans.
