Today I woke up with a Monday morning thing going on, still my second team top of the league and play my favourite team this week
Today l woke up and reflected on the week that has been. Last week, a family member, one of my very best friends, lost his wife to cancer, hence the reason l went to Sydney last Sunday. The poor lady spent the last six months in hospital. Having had bone marrow transplants etc but to no avail. A truly magnificent lady with dignity to the very end. My thoughts now go to my mate and how he must be feeling, now that everyone has gone home. The world really sucks at times.
Sorry to hear that Aussie. I had a friend who died last year also having lost his battle against cancer. Bone marrow transplant etc didn't work. He ended up offering himself as a test subject for new drugs and treatments because he knew he wouldn't beat it. Chin up buddy
Wow Aussie - very sad news indeed. Puts everything into perspective. Football totally takes a back seat at times like this.
