I posted a link to the accounts which are on companies house's website, if the link does not work you can google it. You are right I should not have said 25m debt when I meant loss. There is nothing in the accounts which suggest we have any debt apart from in the share value. This suggests Short is standing the debt, its works out for the club because the loses (not debts) can be carried over into future years which means the club don't have to pay corporation tax on those future profits. Look I am not trying to pick an argument, I just want to make sure people reading this forum to know the reality of the situation.
. Like we give a ****. Sorry LiV. Accounts are not the forte of this board. Its possibly the most boring if subjects ever.
Nah you're alright. Already done it plenty of times. I know 25.5 million was the annual loss, I know we're have debt of in excess of 100m I know we have borrowings in excess of 100m and I know the repayments for these borrowing are set.
Sunderland Football Club is tiny, outside of Sunderland. We bring in very little revenue outside of Sunderland. We need to build the brand, which is what Martin Bain is very good at. A club our size (revenue based) has had no right to pay players 50k plus, in wages, every week. Until we pay wages in comparison to what revenue this club generates, or until the club starts to build the brand and we bring in more revenue through commercial channels. We will continue to operate at a loss, each year.
Good point. Its big but still miniscule compared to many more. Your likes of Man u. Liverpool. Barca. R Madrid. Are of limits. But underneath that there are many a team known more than safc. UK terms its well known. World scale its a tiny fish.
Kabullshyte again i hope..... http://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2016/watford-agree-fee-with-sunderland-for-younes-kaboul/
https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/1633...SunFootball-_-20160818-_-Football-_-548133065 Im starting to believe its true now .
Even if Moyes has a right belter of a centre back lined up Kaboul should still be kept as strong back-up.
He's a quality 1st choice CB who's still only 30 in an inflated market. Yeah his injury record lowers his value but 4m is a piss take. It's got to be bollocks. Can't believe Bain or Moyes could be that daft.
There is too many rumours for this not to be true just wish the club would open there mouths I mean we don't know if Kone is staying yet although it's gone quiet
Kone and Kaboul are like gold dust for us together. If we're looking at selling when the season has already started I'll be furious.
I will only get worried if we sign another CB. At the moment we have the right amount of numbers in that position now. Kone, Kaboul, Pappy, JOS, then the young lad Mcnair if we really have an injury crisis as I think he will end up in midfield or at RB. Remember Kirchoff could play their if we had a complete injury suspension disaster.
Just watched the video of the lads training on the clubs website and couldn't see Kaboul, hope this has nowt to do with these rumours.
