There is a blue tee shirt with Champions on the front on every Leicester seat. Great sight on the TV as viewers see that next to a load of rather disinterested home fans sat quietly observing proceedings. Are they trying to put off the potential buyers who could end up thinking they would be better off buying a club with passionate supporters who don't just sit there, apart from the ones protesting to the disgust of silent (literally) majority who don't get out sung by 2,500 away fans. If City have arranged the providing of these shirts they are utter ****s. If Leicester have then they are ****s for allowing it.
It will obviously be Leicester who provided them, Ehab isn't going to spend any money on anything he doesn't need to.
TFFT. Do you think there is any chance they will have paid for it out of the interest they get from the loans?
There was apparently one mention from the academy manager. Sky mentioned the lack of mention too - they didn't see too happy about it.
Anyone else notice the T-Shirts placed on the seats in the Leics end on Saturday ?. Was this something Leics organised or a congratulations gesture from HC ?.
So fed up of focus on the negative - there was a lot positive about the crowd on Saturday. Away fans often out sing home fans - we do as away fans as well. Not surprisingly, Leicester fans were noisy at the start (they just won the Premier League I think), but the noise in East Stand on Saturday was very good. Just before we scored, when Snodgrass took them on down the right wing, there was the loudest guttural roar of approval I've heard in a long time. KC might be quiet sometimes - it wasn't on Saturday.
It was a vast improvement. Hope it is like that every week. Don't know if it was the placing of the mics, but the Upper West, which was half empty, came across on TV as far louder than when it is full. Maybe it is the silent majority who have moved?
