Watched the ending of it, didn't see the first yellow he was given, but in the swim to the line its difficult to even see why they gave him a 2nd. Unbelievable how good Britain are at cycling. It shows that if you invest money into sport you can get a lot of success out of it.
I can tell you precisely what's gone on with a number of sports. Russia got banned in athletics and certain sports. The Russians have bribed every sporting judge going to ensure a high medal haul. Simple. The Irish lad fought a Russian and tonked him in all 3 rounds and gets a unanimous decision against him... that's corruption right there. It's not like they had an amazing haul in London 2/3 medals max in men's. Let's see if they somehow win more here. I don't think thry have many yet.

I think it was in the run up to Athens where they started improving with the likes of Hoy coming through. Then I'm guessing the funding from Athens lead to the dominance in Beijing, which now means British cycling gets an almost disproportionate amount of funding considering the amount of riders in comparison to track and field athletes etc.
Think thats been know about British cycling for a while now. Think the big success story on how well the money has been spent is the Gymnastics, its frankly staggering to think how **** we traditionally were at it to see whats been achieved this Olympics.
