why do they keep playing the British national anthem

    Turned on the tv,thought it was the chart show,but they are only playing one tune,the British national anthem.What's going on ? ow its the Olympics apparently,and we are winning the fookin lot today <cheers> .

    Not heard that oirish captain pugwash tune at all,are you guys in the Olympics <whistle>

    Ahh Giles Scott can't be beaten but final heat is on Tuesday so he can't be presented with a medal until then.

    As long as Bolt beats Gatland it will be a perfect day at the Olympics today

    It's getting a bit like that Robin Hood theme, or Rick Astleys not going to give you up, hearing the anthem so often we are going to have to insist on it not been played.

    Top of my head.. Whitlock, Laugher+Mears, Rose, Kenny, Wiggins, Peaty all English, that's what10 of the golds at least between them...
