I said this in Jan, so it's still a big yes from me..........realistic? more so than a lot of stories.
Saw him play on Saturday night on sky. I don't care what anyone says he scored a corker of a goal and was a better player than Johnson on the night A big yes from me. I think one of these players will be leaving the club either permanant or on loan
A poor mans Sessegnon maybe? Not what we need I don't think, rather keep Steed. Swp will probably be on 60k a week at city. I have a horrible feeling this will happen and we'll see Seb wasted on the left of midfield. We need a left winger not a right winger brucie. Much rather have Bellamy who can play on the left or upfront and is much better.
I think he would be absolutely great for us...He may be small, but he has the heart and speed of a lion, and more than that he has the knack of doing things that are out of the ordinary which would bring some memorable moments which are worth paying for.
If he's as good as he was in his prime, first time round at City, awesome. But why the **** are we signing a right winger?
Neither for or against. He could play left, as he's quick, and has been known to cut inside and score, usually against us...
Same here. This neither excites or disappoints. Probably a more realistic target and at least he will bring some pace. Suffers from being the forgotten man at City but hes a good age now (30 at the end of October) and hasn't set anywhere on fire wherever he has been. I'd much rather have AJ but that may be a pipe dream. SWP would certainly score more than Steed, is faster but I doubt if he has the heart of Steed. We shall see. Unmoved is how I stand with this.
Too old and too inconsistent if he was anywhere near any good do you think City would be letting him go?
SWP is quick, but I think he runs with his head down and gets into trouble by the time he looks up. Although he does have his moments of absolute brilliance I do admit. A little like Cest, this neither dissapoints nor excites. If he comes I'll support him. ALthough I was at Pools last night where we played Elmo on the right ( his crosses were largely terrible) and Larsson on the left ( who did not look at all like a left winger). SO to bring in another right wing specialist so to speak, at least on paper, wouldn't make much sense to me.
OK, so long as the ground staff paint the deadball lines really bright, so that he can see where to stop.
